“I was born into a family of third generation retailers who discussed the art of buying and selling over the breakfast table. I suppose it was no surprise that my first career was in retail as a buyer for A& S in Brooklyn, which led me to sales and marketing, and ultimately to real estate.”
After a successful career at A&S, Shelley continued to expand her marketing prowess as marketing manager for the Federated Department Store's largest private brands. Her defined success in marketing caught the attention of The American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, who tapped her to spearhead their branding efforts for an American audience.

I remember the first time I walked through Brooklyn Heights and fell in love with the Brownstone community. I had just graduated from Boston University and was moving to New York. Montague Street reminded me of Newbury Street, and I knew I was home.
