For over 25 years, Susanne Anholt has developed her real estate expertise. Her knowledge of the unique neighborhoods of New York City is complemented by her dedication to providing the best possible experience to her many clients, whether she is helping them sell a large property, or assisting them in buying a desirable smaller unit. They prize her diligence and her honesty, and many have developed an ongoing business relationship with her. They know Susanne “knows her stuff” - she has had only one coop Board turn down in her entire real estate career!
Susanne previously lived abroad in Belgium. She speaks French, Dutch and Portuguese. Prior to her work in real estate, she was a volunteer housing assistant working for the international community at the United Nations. Her supervisor noted, “Ms. Anholt handled the intake procedure at the U.N. housing desk professionally and with care for the individual needs of each client, covering family composition, neighborhood infrastructure, and making appropriate referrals; so much so that I suggested that she enter the real estate profession.”
Once she entered the real estate profession, her knowledge of foreign languages and foreign countries, combined with her coop/condo expertise, enabled her to develop an international clientele, including work with agents in Portugal and the Middle East representing overseas customers.
These days, Susanne enjoys living in her Upper East Side coop. When not involved in real estate, she volunteers for “English in Action”, where she helps international students and professionals improve their conversational skills.
