A resident of the East Side for many years, Susan chose a career in Manhattan real estate after successful careers in the arts, including fashion merchandising and costume design as well as acting and modeling. As a buyer and merchandise manager of challenging high volume departments for Henri Bendel, Saks Fifth Avenue and Godiva Chocolatier, Susan traveled extensively and honed her negotiating, financial and interpersonal skills.
After leaving the fashion world to follow her dream of becoming an actress, Susan appeared in theatrical productions, film, television, commercials, the New York City Opera as a character mime and in hundreds of printed advertisements including the cover of New York Magazine. She has also appeared in special televised interviews on CNN, CBS This Morning and various New York local stations.
Susan's tenacious energy and meticulous attention to detail along with her boundless enthusiasm, resourcefulness and creativity, have made her a natural to tackle the challenges of the Manhattan real estate market. Her marketing skills are admired industry-wide. Creative ideas including orchestrating raffles and cocktail parties to stimulate interest in her high-end properties have been widely lauded.
Highly regarded as a specialist in the Empire Condominium, she has already completed record sales and rentals in that prestigious new Upper East Side property. An expert in navigating her way around the city, she enjoys working with buyers and sellers all over Manhattan and takes particular pride in being able to assist them as a savvy "mini-concierge". This includes the personal touch of offering clients guidance in areas such as schools, shopping, fitness and medical facilities, beauty, pet services, catering and gourmet food markets.
Susan is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in psychology. Her passions include practicing yoga, the theatre and strolling around the city she loves with her engaging toy puppy, a Havanese named Prudence.
Susan is frequently interviewed by The New York Times and other publications. The Mann Report has recently profiled Susan as featured broker for their publication.
