Meryl's strength is encouraging buyers and sellers to proceed in spite of obstacles that can potentially be overcome. Her enthusiastic demeanor is often contagious. She is known for going above and beyond whatever is necessary for both parties to proceed with a purchase, sale or rental. A good listener, Meryl displays genuine interest in the people she works with; this instills confidence with her buyers and sellers alike. She considers it her professional obligation to assist all members of the transaction to maintain awareness of the time-sensitivity of real estate transactions. She has her MFA and has studied and performed with Nam June Paik, an early pioneer who took television out of the studio and used smaller, portable equipment to work with video as an art form. She has pieces in several collections, including the Museum of Modern Art Video Library. In addition to her work with image processing, she created performance works that combined video, music and dance. When time permits, Meryl enjoys photography and being in the Berkshires or in any green wooded area, and loves to hike with her rescued dog, Lucy.
