A native New Yorker, Judy Thomas has been involved in the real estate business for 20 years and has a reputation for candor and hard work. After graduating from CCNY with a B.A. in Political Science, Judy become a political campaign aide to a New York State Congressman. Intrigued by both politics and the law, she went to St. John's University Law School where she ranked first in her class and graduated cum laude. She was also an Associate Editor of the Law Review. Judy's legal career included specialization in corporate law, public utility rate regulation and litigation. Her most exciting position involved directing an investigation into the fencing of stolen merchandise for the New York State Commission of Investigation.
Judy became a real estate broker after her daughter Amanda was born. Her extensive legal background has enabled her to negotiate effectively on behalf of her clients and to understand the contractual process.
