Amy LaPeters is an experienced real estate broker with a broad knowledge of real estate issues obtained over many years in real estate brokerage. She has been a broker since the early 1970's. Prior to joining Halstead, she worked as a salesperson and office manager at Phyliss Koch Real Estate Inc. for more than 20 years.
During the 70's and 80's Amy was involved in the conversion of numerous West Side buildings to cooperatives. As a long time West Side resident and a mother of three children who attended public school, she has always been involved in the West Side community and is very knowledgeable about life here.
Amy has been affiliated with the Halstead Property, LLC since 1992. Assigned to our Columbus Avenue office across from the American Museum of Natural History, she has specialized in selling and leasing unique Upper West Side apartments, including restored brownstones, elegant prewars, and ultramodern hi-rises. As one of the firm's most skilled agents, she has developed expertise in all types of residential transactions.
Amy received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and spent two years as the Director of Social Service of a residential treatment center.
Besides loving her job and the people she works with and for, Amy also loves the opera, theater and travel.
