Ayo Haynes is a proud native New Yorker raised in East Harlem (El Barrio). Against the stereotype of most inner-city kids, at the age of twelve, Ayo learned how to play and hone her tennis game in the heart of Harlem on public tennis courts. She attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science and was able to successfully combine her prowess in academics and athletics to receive a full-scholarship to attend Bentley College in Waltham, MA where she played tennis and ran track.
Ayo was the first African-American to be accepted into and graduate from the esteemed business school's Five-year BA/MBA program with concentrations in Liberal Arts and Marketing, respectively. While there, among the many extra-curricular activities and programs she was involved in, Ayo also organized the appearance and performance of world-renowned politicians and musicians.
A natural at marketing, Ayo has successfully run her own production company focusing on event planning and lecturing on the topics of Corporate Networking and Corporate Diversity Training; having spoken in front of and trained numerous executives of Fortune Five Hundred companies around the country.
Her go-getter spirit and ease with people of all backgrounds comes from having traveled extensively through out the United States (every state except two), Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. Still an avid tennis player she is also a devotee of dancing salsa on 2. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French. Ayo is a self-proclaimed citizen of the world with family near and far.
