Halstead brokers Jill Sloane and Daniel Wright combined forces to set a new price record for a Riverdale co-op. They sold a four-bedroom penthouse duplex with a wraparound terrace overlooking the Hudson River for $1.895 million.
The previous record was $1.74 million from a purchase dating back to February 2007. "This feels like a house inside, but when you step outside you have these incredible country and city views," says Wright, who lives in the building and has helped Halstead take control of the Riverdale market. "This apartment sold in just three weeks."
Located on the 16th floor of the Highpoint on Hudson, the apartment combines 2,000 square feet of outdoor space with a renovated interior, where views stretch as far as the Tappan Zee Bridge. The buyers are current Riverdale residents with a growing family.
